Do you know of people on LinkedIn that are always sharing great information in your group but you are not connected to them? Now you can keep up with your favorite people even if they are not linked to your network.

In my last article, I showed you how to find out who is following you on LinkedIn. This time, I am going to walk you through the steps to follow people on LinkedIn that you are not connected to.

In order to do this, you will have to be in the same LinkedIn group as the person that you want to follow.

Here is how you do it.
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
Things You'll Need:
·         Computer with Internet access
·         LinkedIn account
·         Member of a LinkedIn Group
1.       1
Go to LinkedIn.com and log into your account. This should bring you to your home page.
2.       2
Click on "Groups" menu tab (keep in mind that you have to already be a group member prior to doing this).
3.       3
Select and click on any of your groups. Once you are in the group forum there are two different ways to follow people.
4.       4
Select someone's existing discussion or news post (this is the first option). After you click on the discussion, you will see an option to follow that person (listed under thier profile). click on "follow" and you are done.

Option 2. Highlight your mouse over the "More" tab and then click (select) members. (see next step to continue)
5.       5
Look as the member list comes up, and you will be able to select the "follow" or "stop following" option that is right under the person's name. You also have an option to search for the name of the person that you want to follow.

That's all to it. Now you can follow people and keep up to date with their latest discussions.

Now that you finished reading, are you ready to see these steps in action? A video has been provided in the resource section below for your viewing pleasure.
